Con profundo dolor en nuestros corazones, compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, abuela y bisabuela, María Victorina Ventura Guevara. Fue una mujer llena de amor, bondad y generosidad, y el corazón de nuestra familia. Trataba a todos con respeto, cariño y dignidad. No importaba quién fuera ni de dónde viniera; para ella siempre había una palabra amable y un lugar entre la familia.

A Victorina le sobreviven sus hijos Emelina, Noemy, Maribel, Flor, Reina y Eric; sus nietos Carlos, Jennefer, Jimmy, Kathy, Derick, Diana, Susie, Stephen, Melisa, Ronald, Victoria, Amy, Sophia, Florsita, Aidan y Roman; y sus hermanos Israel, Francisca y Pablo.

Ella tuvo comienzos muy humildes. Con su humildad, su carácter y muchos años de trabajo y sacrificio, sacó adelante a sus hijos y a su familia, y construyó el legado que hoy nos une. Nos enseñó con su ejemplo el valor del esfuerzo, el respeto hacia los demás, la unión familiar y el amor al prójimo. Le encantaba reunir a su familia, ver a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos juntos, y hacer que todos se sintieran bienvenidos y parte de algo especial. Su mayor legado vive en la unión de su familia. Esa unión se convirtió en parte de nuestra identidad familiar y seguirá guiándonos por muchas generaciones más.

Para honrar su memoria y celebrar su vida, se realizarán los servicios fúnebres el Domingo 28 de Junio de 6pm a 10pm en Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, 7801 Alumni Dr, College Park, MD 20742 seguido por el entierro el Lunes 29 de Junio a las 11:30am en Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906. La familia agradece profundamente todas las muestras de cariño y apoyo en este momento de profundo dolor.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, María Victorina Ventura Guevara. She was a woman filled with love, kindness, and generosity, the very heart of our family. She treated everyone with respect, affection, and dignity. No matter who a person was or where they came from, she always had a kind word and a place for them within the family.

Victorina is survived by her children Emelina, Noemy, Maribel, Flor, Reina, and Eric; grandchildren Carlos, Jennefer, Jimmy, Kathy, Derick, Diana, Susie, Stephen, Melisa, Ronald, Victoria, Amy, Sophia, Florsita, Aidan and Roman; and siblings Israel, Francisca, and Pablo.

She came from very humble beginnings. Through her humility, strength of character, and years of hard work and sacrifice, she raised her children and supported her family, building the legacy that unites us today. She taught us, through her own example, the value of hard work, respect for others, family unity, and love for our neighbors. She loved bringing the family together, seeing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren united, and making everyone feel welcome and part of something special. Her greatest legacy lives on in the unity of her family. That unity has become part of our family identity and will continue to guide us for generations to come.

To honor her memory and celebrate her life, funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 28th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, 7801 Alumni Dr, College Park, MD 20742, followed by the burial on Monday, June 29th at 11:30 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906. The family deeply appreciates all the expressions of love and support during this time of profound grief.
